The grind

We often talk about the grind at work. I have been experiencing my own grind. Waking up early everyday to hookup to a dialysis machine. Repeating tasks frequently so that I am safe, hygienic, and thorough. I need to be thorough so that I don’t make mistakes. It is so easy to get out of the routines and procedures I was trained to do. However, when I do I make mistakes. Those can have some pretty scary consequences. So far so good but it is a grind doing the same things over and over again.
